Salesforce gifting integration

Make a sales milestone feel like a human moment.

Bring personalized client gifting into your Salesforce routine. Choose a contact or lead, send a thoughtful gift and see its progress on the record your team already uses.

Browse first. Connect Salesforce when you’re ready.

01 / For sales and customer teams

Work with contacts and leads

Search Salesforce from Printonic and select a contact or an open lead. Gift activity is recorded on the person you picked.

Respond to the right milestone

Create rules for new contacts, leads and opportunities, lead-status changes or opportunity-stage changes. Filter the stages and record owners that matter to your program.

Give the account team context

Salesforce tasks record the gift invitation, address confirmation, shipment and delivery, including the tracking link when available.

02 / From a connection to a gift

How Salesforce gifting works.

  1. 01

    Choose your Salesforce sign-in

A team owner or approver connects Salesforce from Sales gifting. Choose your usual sign-in, a sandbox or your company’s My Domain URL, then approve access.

  2. 02

Find the recipient or set a rule

Select a contact or open lead for a personal send. For an opportunity milestone, create a rule and make sure the opportunity has a primary contact role.

  3. 03

    Make the gift yours

Choose the products and message, add a printed card and set spending controls. Send under a colleague’s monthly budget or the automated rule’s own caps.

  4. 04

Follow the gift from your CRM

The recipient uses a private link for their address and any open product choices. Gift activity is written to their Salesforce record as the order progresses.

03 / A little preparation

What you need to connect.

You can explore the gifts now. When you’re ready to connect Salesforce, have these details ready.

Read the sales gifting guide
  • A Printonic team owner or approver and permission to authorize Salesforce access.
  • A Salesforce admin to create an External Client App for Printonic in your org (about ten minutes; the steps are on the connection screen).
  • Your Salesforce sign-in address. Use My Domain if your company requires its own login URL.
  • The person who connects needs to read contacts and create tasks in your org. Gift activity is written as a task on the contact, so a profile without that permission connects but records nothing.
  • A recipient with an email address. Opportunity rules need a primary contact role; converted leads are not eligible.

CRM rules check for changes every 15 minutes, with a manual check available. Gift activity is written to Salesforce within the hour.

A few useful answers.

Can I send gifts to Salesforce leads as well as contacts?

Yes. Search results include contacts and open leads. Each gift is recorded against the recipient you select. Converted leads are not eligible for a new gift through a rule.

How does an opportunity choose its recipient?

An opportunity rule uses the primary contact role on the opportunity. That contact needs an email address. If the required recipient details are missing, the send history shows why the gift was not sent.

Can we review gifts before they are sent?

Yes. Team budgets and approval policies govern individual sends. Automated rules have their own spending caps and approval setting, so you can require review before a gift is paid and its invitation is sent.
