White label

White label means a product or service is produced by one company and sold under another company's brand. In print on demand it usually refers to packaging and paperwork carrying your shop's identity rather than the manufacturer's.

For a print-on-demand seller, white labelling is what keeps the customer relationship yours. Without it, every parcel is an advertisement for your supplier, and a curious buyer is one search away from cutting you out.

White label is not the same as private label. White label is someone else's product under your brand; private label generally implies a product specified or formulated for you.
