For Teams

Your logo and artwork on products

Upload your logo once and see it on the collection products before you order. Then, on any team order, print your own artwork instead: a file for this order or a pick from the team's artwork library, with a real picture of the final product before you pay. What the files should look like, why some items stay plain, and how the library works.

Printonic for Teams keeps one logo per team. Upload it once and we prepare it for every print area in the collections: sized to fit, centered, with breathing room, never stretched. On the Collections page a signed-in team sees the products rendered with that logo, and a team order can carry it on every piece.

The logo is the default, not the limit. Every line of a team order chooses its artwork: the team logo, a file you upload for this order, a pick from the team's artwork library, or no print where the item allows it. A line with your own artwork gets a real picture of the finished item before you pay, and that picture follows the order to the approvals page, the manifest and the recipient's link.

The logo and the library live on the team, so every owner, approver and requester sees the same pictures and orders the same artwork.

  1. 1

Dashboard > Settings (team) > Logo

Upload a logo that prints well

Best: an SVG, or a PNG with a transparent background, at least 1000 pixels on its longest side. A JPG works too, but it keeps its white box unless you tick Remove the background before saving. Files up to 2 MB.

Remove the background runs in your browser before the file is sent, so it works on photos of a logo or on a logo sitting on a white box. Check the result on the Collections page; if letters went missing, upload a transparent PNG instead.
  2. 2

Collections page, while signed in to your team

    See it with your logo

Open Collections from the team dashboard. A bar above the kits says See it with your logo. Turn it on and each kit shows the products rendered with your logo instead of the catalog pictures. Pictures take a minute or two the first time; you can leave the page and come back.

We render once per logo. Uploading the same file again does nothing; uploading a new logo re-renders every product.
  3. 3

    Collections page

Know why an item stays plain

A few items show as plain with a short note. Either the item has no print area for a logo, it is personalized per recipient instead (like a card with the recipient's name), its print areas need different artwork each, or a picture is not available yet even though the logo prints on it. The note tells you which.

Engraved items (the bamboo candle lid, the steel wine tumbler) show the logo in one color: a laser has no colors, so the preview matches what ships.
  4. 4

Dashboard > Team orders > Start a team order > Gift

Send a team order with the logo

Pick any item or kit from the Teams catalog. When your team has a logo, each line in the gift cart starts as Artwork: Team logo, and every recipient's piece is made with it. At the top of the Gift step, Your logo, on the gifts also lists the collection items with your logo already rendered; choose Use our logo on one and it goes into the gift like any product, with the same size and color choices.

Until member ordering lands, only the team owner can add logo items from that list to a team order. Approvers and requesters see the pictures and can ask the owner to place it.
  5. 5

New team order > Gift > gift cart > Change artwork

Upload artwork for a team order

Every line in the gift cart shows what it prints. Click Change artwork to choose: Team logo, Upload artwork for this order, Pick from the team's artwork library, or No print (only offered when every print area on the item is optional). The item's print areas are listed one by one with the exact size we print at, for example 2550 x 1155 px (8.5 x 3.85 in at 300 DPI), whether the area is required, round, or engraved in one color. Add a file per area: PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG up to 25 MB. A file smaller than the print area is flagged; under half the size it is refused, so export at the size shown. If the file's shape differs from the area you choose Fit inside (nothing cropped) or Fill the area (edges may be cropped). The logo can go on one area and your own file on another.

Every upload lands in the team's artwork library, so the same file never needs uploading twice. Choose Use this artwork and we prepare the item; identical artwork on the same item is never prepared twice.
  6. 6

Gift cart and Review and pay

See the final product before you pay

A line with your own artwork reads Rendering your preview, about a minute while we make the picture; leave the page open and it updates by itself. When it is ready the line and the Review and pay step show the finished item with your artwork on it. You cannot pay for a line whose picture is not there yet: wait for it, or tick Order without a preview on that line to pay now with the artwork placed exactly as the print areas show. That choice is recorded on the order, and the manifest and the approvals page say so.

Some items have no render scene yet, and each team can render previews up to 60 times a month. In both cases the artwork is still on the item and the order proceeds with a short note instead of a picture. Approvers see the picture on the approvals page before they pay, and recipients see it on their link.
  7. 7

Dashboard > Team > Artwork library (also linked from Team settings)

Keep artwork in the team's library

The library lists every file your team printed or uploaded, the team logo pinned first. Anyone on the team can upload a file here or from the Artwork step of a team order. Owners and approvers can rename an entry or remove one; an entry that a team order already carries cannot be removed, and the page says on how many orders it is used.

PDF files cannot be placed yet. Export the artwork as a PNG, JPG or SVG.
  8. 8

Dashboard > Settings (team) > Logo

    Change the logo later

Upload the new file. The Collections page re-renders every product with it, and new team orders use the new logo. Orders already placed keep the logo they were placed with, and a line printed with your own artwork keeps that artwork.

Good to know

  • Keep a little clear space inside the file itself; we add padding, but a logo cropped tight to its edges looks cramped on small areas like a candle label.
  • Wide logos look best on the tumblers and the notebook; square marks look best on candles and lids. The same file is used everywhere, so pick the version of your logo that survives both.
  • Each team can render previews up to 60 times a month, logo previews and artwork previews together. Ordinary use never gets close; if you hit it, the artwork still prints on orders and the pictures come back next month.
  • For your own artwork, start from the design template of the item (the size and DPI shown on each print area) and export a PNG with transparency where nothing should print. A full-bleed design should match the print area's shape, so nothing is cropped or padded.

Common questions

Can different recipients get different logos?

Not yet. One logo per team. For a second brand, use a second team account, or print that brand's artwork from the library on the lines that need it.

Can I print something other than the logo?

Yes. On any team order line, click Change artwork and upload a file for this order or pick one from the team's artwork library. You see a picture of the finished item before you pay.

Why can I not pay yet?

A line with your own artwork is waiting for its picture. Give it a minute, or tick Order without a preview on that line to pay now. Items without a render scene, and previews beyond this month's allowance, never hold payment.

Do the previews count against anything?

They use the same render pipeline as every Printonic product, on a small monthly allowance per team that ordinary use never reaches. They do not count against anything else on your account.

Can I move the logo or make it bigger?

Not on your own yet. Placement is automatic: centered with padding, sized to the print area, never stretched. Tell us in the sample request or on the order if you need a different placement and we set it up.

Where do the logo products show up in my account?

They are internal to the team: they never appear in product lists, cannot be sold anywhere, and only exist to carry your logo into previews and team orders.
